Re-Open March 2025
Fourteen years have passed since Farmer John and Katy first opened the doors of the farm-to-table Café, and their passion for fresh, locally-sourced food has never waned. Now, the next generation of our farm family is all grown up and ready to continue the tradition. Marley and Ruby, the Farmers' son and his wife, are the new owners, manager, and chef of our restaurant, bringing their own passion for delicious, sustainable cuisine to the table.
Under Ruby and Marley's leadership, the outdoor dining area has expanded, providing one of the best destination eating experiences in the Cowichan Valley. Come taste the difference that farm-to-table dining can make, with every dish made from the freshest ingredients grown right here on Alderlea Farm. On the farm, guests experience where the food really comes from and share in the biodynamic farm bounty while contributing to sustainable agricultural practices. You can taste it in every bite. The food is not only nutritious and delicious but energizes the spirit and satisfies the senses.
